Every thing i have read on all 11 pages that you guys are having issue wise i have had on my ved 12. The problem is speed sensor located at driveline at back of transmission. When mine would derate the speedometer would not be stable. It would read o or sometimes jump from 10 mph to 30 mph or jump around at different speeds. Like it was gping crazy. Anytime it did this it would be in derate. Then driving it it was like flipping a switch and would take off like normal and then speedometer would be steady and show correct speed. Ive had this problem for over two years off and on.
SPEED SENSOR is my bet on all these problems occuring.
