06 Cat C-15 coolant leak

I know this is an old thread but anyway I've got a cold weather leak that popped up on my MBN recently that seems to be coming from the freeze plug in front of the oil filter just below the oil cooler. When the ambient temp is around 25* or lower it drips. Anyone ever seen that before? I'm pretty sure it's coming from the freeze plug (pic below) and not the oil cooler. Can I just knock the old freeze plug out with a punch and then use a socket/hammer on top of a new one to seat it in?

Mine is dripping from here as well.
Leaks when cold, but when the motor warms up it stops, what did you ever do to repair it?

I got rid of that truck and I forgot about that one. I don't remember exactly. I do remember my coolant temp was running too cool at one point or another back then so I installed new temperature regulators which fixed that. At the same time I replaced all the coolant hoses and clamps with brand new then flushed and refilled it with CAT ELC. I seem to recall several of the old hose clamps I replaced were not of the correct type that CAT uses.
