Ya know , I don't know if their related , cause the cruise started acting up first , but last week , I went to load , in KC. Got loaded , it was getting dark , temp was about 15 degrees , I flipped the headlights on. No headlights . Took me better part of a week to figure out what's wrong. There seems to be a direct short in the wiring . When you flip the headlight switch on , the bright light iindicator comes on, and all three headlight wire , low , hi , and ground , are Hot. Like in current flowing , not physically hot.
i finally ran a wire off the batteries , to a switch , then to the low beams , then ground back to the batteries. Had to unplug the factory harness , for that to work.

Did you have the entire wiring harness replaced ? I figured that would be very expensive !
No engine light . As for stage one , IDK. I can tell now when the cruise shuts off , and I get my foot back on the pedal , before the Jake comes on.
I'm home now . I going to get a couple parts tomorrow , u-joint starting to get a little loose . I pull a tank , it can be rough on the driveline.
