    My son is looking into buying a 2006 t600 with a isx 450 hp. and a 13 speed. Can this ecm be tuned for more power? what rear end should he look for? and most important how reliable is this engine? We will usually be hauling about 40k

    Tune it how? Bump it to factory 600hp? Have no idea with Cummins. I will say this though. Factory 3 row T600 radiator is a joke. Mine had trouble cooling 550 horses. If he's thinking that or much more with something like a PDI tune he needs to upgrade the radiator sure enough. 3:55's are good with an ISX. Every ISX powered company truck I drove had lo-pro 22.5's, 10 speed direct, with 3:55's and it was a good setup for fuel mileage and pulling although those trucks were governed at 66mph and the rpms were around 1450 at that speed...
