06 vnl d.i.d. symbol ??

it is the common problem of Volvo motors. sensor goes bad and reads pressure in crankcase, ecm applies engine protection procedure, you pull over, engine stalls.

disconneting sensor helps) it is near the oil pressure sensor, drivers side of engine.

But do not run truck w/o sensor. New engines got closed crankcase vent system with cyclon (like mercedes did 15 years ago) and it may be blocked with carbon deposits ore ice. So pressure damages seals and valve cover may blow! It may involve truck in accident ore truck may catch fire.

This crankcase vent system is emission thing, related with Euro-5 and EPA2010 regulations. so we have to follow rules and laws
