well got it fixed, went back to the start I got a bad EGR but I listend to my freightliner dealer and wasted 2 weeks and a #### load of cash but if you have an 07 classic check your harnes were it passes the compresser and also the altiater cabels under the back of the engin as they were very badly worn and shorting on the mount, as well as the remote starter wires from the starter.

i thought mercedes used a reed valve instead of egr
-
some of the early models had reeds and egr's then they just went to egr;s you can tell the non reeds by the way they sound at idel

How about crappy thorttle response.....ie' injector "ramp-up time. Can theat be addresed....? Plz..anything.

mbe4000 do not have a droop setting like a s60 try some injector cleaner then a valve set also check to see if your regulater to the turbo actuater is leaking, but never let it drop past 1750 rpm on a pull or you will have to get out and push it up the hill. remember the mbe4000 is a high rpm motor, I run the rock pile IE highway though hell and the rockies and it pulls, but not like a 600
ps my spelling sucks -
