    I know what the thread STARTED as, however you brought up the rough idle/spitter issue, which may or may not be unrelated to your original problem. It always helps to segregate your issues and make certain you are not chasing an unrelated symptom. I was simply asking if you idle near the point of clutch engagement, (approx 850 RPM) and if you are, that may explain the additional roughness when the spitter pops off. BTW the auto clutch in an Ultrashift engages/disengages regardless of gear selection, and it does so with no input from the electronics. So, again I ask, what RPM do you idle at while in the bunk? If the answer is not around 850 then my theory is invalid.

    I'm always at low idle at 650 rpms. Idles rough now, but it is what it is :biggrin_2557:
    I never felt the idle change previously when the air dryer would fart.

    So, any updates on the lose engine power yet boyz???what's the main difference that eaton changed when they got the ultra plus on the market compared to the previous ultra
