07 freightliner century, loss of power, running hot

    Found the problem, I was sure it’s the water pump and start changing It. When I disconnect the EGR cooler and the water pump a broken pieces of metal came out with the coolant( attaching the picture below)

    Be sure to get all of that junk out of coolant before putting in new water pump?

    I paid someone to do it maybe he done it right. But he flushed all the coolant. I drove 140 Miles after changed the water pump. And I am planing to flush all the coolant, since I didn’t see what he puts in it.
