pulled in to get fuel yesterday and came out and started truck but wouldn't build any air pressure?
I limped it in to a parking spot to check it out.
After messing with it for a while all of sudden it started building air pressure?
Now after that the air dryer is cycling about e every 45 seconds or so?
The compressor builds air pressure till the dryer pops off then then the dryer continues to hiss air out and you can watch the dash gauges slowly drop then the air dryer stops hissing and the compressor builds air again and the process starts all over again.
Anyone have any ideas?

Pop off valve on the bottom of the dryer is sticking. Some time you can lightly tap it with a hammer to free it up but i would replace the valve. Careful not to hit it too hard cuz it will break, from experience.

Air dryer replacement maybe? -
You can but the valve it self. Would be alot cheaper, easier to replace.

Changed the air dryer assembly and the problem is now solved.
Bought it at fleet pride and did it myself.

For a $65 rebuild kit and a pair of snap ring pliers you could've saved yourself $451.
A cycling air dryer is more annoying then harmful, (as in breaking down on you.) -
