    yeah i hear that. ive got a wilson 2000 that i plan runnin and wilson coax as well. on sale close out at truck world.

    i found a two pin connector in there and a two pin male connector from another freightliner. mine was missing, so i think i should be in good shape.

    make sure you get the wilson 2000 swr set or you wont get out good...

    My 06 had 2 hot wires and 2 grounds in the overhead bin. It sucks because all the wires are yellow and not marked but like it was said earlier take a VOM and check which is hot or not.

    In mine I ran my own as I was getting a lot of noise from the ground. On the fuse block there is 4 places on the right side under a red cover that you can run a hot lead from and the pillar makes a decent ground. Just get some self tapping screws and attach your ground to the metal pillar. Then run both wires behind the pillar into the overhead and your set.

    * And I second the Wilson 2000 recommendation.

    yeah. that is some great advice. im thinking that next week im gonna try setting all that up..

    i am going to use the swr on the cobra to try to set it as best as I can. i know those arent the best, but its all i got now. i should be able to get it close.

    Don't rely on the SWR meter in the radio. Get it checked properly immediately! Preferably with a antenna analyzer, but any good SWR meter will suffice.
