With the ignition on, turn the cruise control switch off and hold the set/resume switch in until the check engine light starts to flash. Count the flashes. It will flash a two digit number. ie 5 flashes, a short pause and 5 more flashes would be code 55. it may flash several several codes.
If it flashed code 55 there is no faults.
