08 international maxxforce 7 stuck in econ

    This truck is stuck in econ, I have found the button on the shifter but it does nothing. When the speed tops out at the limit, 71, the truck backs off acceleration and it allows the truck to slow down, but I think the econ mode is why it wont react till at about 68 to start accelerating again. Please don't tell me this is some ######## set in the ecm

    ECON does not limit speed. It just allows different shift points. Your truck is programmed for that max speed. If you want to go faster, you will have to get it reprogrammed.
