I'm looking for an automatic single axle tractor to build a dump out of and I'm really having a heck of a time finding anything that has decent power. I found this one from Penske with 413 k miles priced right. Seems like they do a pretty good job getting the trucks prepped for sale. I've never owned an emissions diesel and am wondering if these years were ok. The truck has an eaton 10 speed auto which is one of the reasons I'm buying it. Any thoughts or recommendations on this truck? These moderate power single axle automatic tractors are real hard to come by. Thanks

Wouldn't ever buy a '09 model. The DPF will eat you up.

I'm not a fan of a truck with emissions but I don't think any of us are going to have a choice sooner or later. The pre emissions stuff is getting pretty old. At least it doesn't have def yet. And there's always ways around it if it gives you that much trouble.

I don't want any of it honestly. Don't the def trucks have a dpf also? pretty sure.
