And they (the OP) also accepted that on the last page of the order summary it says that while Peterbilt does it’s best to maintain pricing blah blah blah that prices can change at any time. At least that’s what mine said. I posted a pic of the actual wording on this site somewhere before when someone else was saying it’s against the law for them to raise prices due to the cost of parts once you ordered the truck. So really, the OP accepted and entered into an agreement also, knowing that prices could change.

At the rate things are going, Pretty soon orders might start cancelling. That Contract could easily work both ways.

The Volvo dealer I ordered my truck through had canceled 25 percent of the ordered placed last year. Luckily I was not one of them.
EDIT: That happened a few weeks ago.

Will be interesting to see what they do with your order as well. I am wondering if the dealer that put in orders get pushed back over a bigger dealer orders? I ordered it from Original West Fall Volvo out of KCMO that was the flag ship store. But since then it was bought out by Nextran.

Don't know if this will effect semis.

Last week it was announced auto production is expected to decrease by 2M over Russia.

Not a large dealer here. Maybe different dealers have different schedules? Or maybe ordered earlier? IDK.
Of course he could be BS'ing me too.

That's why i think some dealers are inflating the price. One of my O/O's new 389 is 190K
