Normal times (LOL) they give a price based on what the truck is at that time, estimated mileage when the new one arrives.
Sometimes they gain a little, some time they lose a little.

Right now a trade is based on you giving them the truck today.

    Oxbow and AModelCat Thank this.

When I asked about this they would give amount and then take whatever off per mile.

Call their bluff? If they’re smart they’d cut that $1500 check and move on to the next person.

They're out $0 and they've probably got 10 people lined up to buy it.

I’d say that’s low. I got my truck from a smaller dealership and he had a list about 30 people long. He said he could sell my new truck in less than an hour.

Yep I was just getting ready to say it’s probably already sold and he’s got fingers and toes cross hoping, just hoping like hell he’ll try and call his bluff. lol. Finger already on the button ready to push.

Volvo might not have raised the prices but they certainly can deliver a truck on time. My company ordered around 40 new volvos to be delivered by the end of October last year. The FIRST 4 showed up last week. Nearly a year late.
