1,300 dollar fine for a glider in California

So apparently CARB has decided to ignore the fact that gliders are legal.

 

Basically. Yes.

 

A glider is not CARB compliant . Legal about everywhere else but...

 

We were just in California with 7 trucks, 4 with clean idle stickers and 3 non compliant trucks. One of the non compliant trucks got stopped and let go because the company was smart enough to get those trucks a 3 day permit from CARB.

 

I hear this all the time but it's only partially true. California has the eighth largest consumer economy in the world. They have what could be referred to as a trade deficit that would choke a dinosaur. California is slowly committing economic suicide and when the crash comes it's going to change everyone definition of "The Big One".

 

Where did this happened? I have NOT seen CARB set up any where in the southern part of Cali for quite awhile. I'm always running around Cajon pass, Rainbow(I-15) and jct 91.

 

I am not sure where he got stopped. We all unloaded in San Clement and reloaded in Barstow, but on different days.

 

What else is new?
