You can get a new complete Lipe-2 clutch (choice for most all class 8 applications) for $625 or a Lipe-1 clutch (highest rating clutch there is) for $700 from http://www.phoenixfriction.com/m-30-lipe-clutch-by-setco.aspx

Nice thing about that Lipe clutch, it far exceeds torque ratings of any eaton spicer clutch and is the easiest clutch to adjust by one person. A child could do it. Probably the last clutch most people would ever need unless they are really cruel to clutches.

Thanks for the info... if I keep the truck, and new clutch is in it's future before winter.

Had no idea there would be so big of a price range between shops. Have not had to do mine yet, but am marking the thread for the Lipe info.

Doubt you'll get it done that cheap 13 years later.

Man I got a story to make you all happy.

At 310K mile I paid $3750 to have my clutch done, with another $1880 for some actuator. No flywheel resurfacing or anything fancy. So a quick $6270 US or 10K AU for a 2013 DAF 13lt 12spd done at a major Kenworth chain here in Australia.

Trouble is smaller guys can't do it for weeks, often aren't much cheaper either. As others have said to set yourself up with workshop, tools, knowledge and sometimes youtube doesn't have it all; takes money and time that hopefully would be rarely used if the truck is a decent one.

Aren't you supposed to go ahead and get your rear seal replaced if you're doing a clutch job as well?

Yes, it's a good idea to replace rear main seal while you're in there.
