I stand to be corrected, but from the pictures I am assuming that the bus hit Eagle in the rear. It was real foggy this morning on the mt. and icy right on top.
what a mess
I am surprised. that the bus driver did not get killed. He best thank God that he is still living.
I thought bus driver has been killed, there is blood all over that seat.
Blue Ridge Parkway summits very near there. its not for trucks so 250's out if you are west or near Charlottesville, there is no good pass across in that section. Might have to wait a bit.
UPDATE I-64 Shut Down Near Afton Mountain for Crash truck overturned and bus came along and could not stop. icy and foggy
The visibility plus over speed for conditions probably prevented that kind of stopping anyway. Buses are really bad for schedule keeping and probably over speed to maintain it.
The latest news story says no one was killed.
