The truck driver was a jerk. The article shows he wasn't blocked, he just thought he was.
"Garland was negligent in blowing a horn loud enough to cause injury, especially since Garland’s path was not actually blocked."Last edited: Apr 19, 2024

Good, I am glad to see any driver who is going out of their way to make excessive noise have to pay the price for their idiocy.
One thing I hate is all the drivers who leave their super loud jake brakes on ALL THE TIME and roll through truck stops at night waking people up because they think it's cool to have a loud jake brake that they never switch off. It reminds me of the South Park episode where they pointed out how many Harley riders are of a similar mindset.Deere hunter, Flat Earth Trucker, mjd4277 and 3 others Thank this. -

I do that all the time, I call it an "Air horn Enema."
just not right in someones face,
from 6 feet away.
And not that long a blast.
I've had people look startled,
like they didn't even know I was there?
Sorry, did I wake you?
I had a guy with a tri-axle, pulling an excavator on a trailer, merge right into me.
I think he forgot he was pulling the trailer? IDK?
I got a loud horn cause it's dangerous out there, but I don't abuse it.
