Thou shalt keep thy attention on thy driving. Put down the hand held phone, do not text, play video games or watch porn while driving.

    1. know where the trucks are weak
    2. know where the loads are strong
    3. reposition to strongest location
    4. post out truck when all the other trucks are all used up
    5. you do the quoting, it's your business you are running the load, nobody tell you what you are gona run the load for
    6. never accept what the broker say's the miles are "you" run them
    7. don't waste time arguing with those that choke on your rate
    8. get your fees for detention, layover TONU, stop pay "all" written on rate confirmation
    9. check the rate confirmation esp delivery "date" and time
    10. If you are in a decent market (truck to load ratio .2 or better) and you can't find your rate...................SIT and now you know.......what I know, Jo Bernard

Thou shalt not drive down the highway with dump box all the way up and take down a bridge with it.

Thou shalt wait for the Dock lock to be released also along with Removing Chocks.

Thou shall tell Dispatcher I can ONLY RUN 65 MPH when they want load in Chicago from LA in 30 hours SOLO. Better yet ask them were the C-5 is for the Cargo Flight.

Lastly remember that if your a NEWBY your Trainer knows MORE THAN YOU SO FORGET WHAT THE SCHOOL TOLD YOU AND LISTEN TO THEM SINCE THE SCHOOL IS IN IT ONLY FOR THE MONEY. HOPEFULLY YOU GET A TRAINER THAT WANTS TO TEACH YOU WHAT HIS TAUGHT HIM AND IS NOT A SIX MONTH WONDER.

    Texas-Nana Thanks this.

Slow down from warp 9 BEFORE the road freezes, lest you cool your jack-knifed ##### in the ditch.

When hauling machinery thou shalt make sureth the machinery willest fit below bridges.
Couple years back on 19-23 in NC near Weaverville a driver had a back hoe on truck but did not lower back hoe arm all the way so hit a bridge and ran off the road flipping over.

A reading from the book of Dennis Connor:

You have 3 options: 1.) Lead, 2.) Follow, 3.) Get out of the way.

    Amen

Thou shalt get thy lard A.$.$. out of the truck and helpeth the newb back into the tight parking spot. For, behold we are all brothers and sisters of the road it is a sin to razz them on the CB, and thou too was once a newb.
