I also said their safety record sucks and also said FMCSA lets companies get away with more then enough. They could have thousands of log violations in a short time, many oos in a short time and they still will be satisfactory in the eyes of the lawJust because its right there in black and white on the web ,thats suppose to mean they're safe on our roads?.

Does that mean they're unsafe or noncompliant?

Sometimes yes.not all drivers but some yes, happens with every company. Those drivers and the companies/dispatchers that condone this behavior is why scale houses single them out.I;m not saying every driver with Watkins or any other company is a bad seed. But one of the 5 leading causes of trucking accidents is poor training, poor drivers that the company hires and the company.Companies don't screen drivers like they should and hire almost anyone with a cdl.Which then goes thru their training program. So with this so called rinky dink 10 day training that just makes it much worse for the motoring public to have to deal with.

It depends on what ones interpretation of the evidence means. Companies, gooberment, all use numbers in order to further ideas ect....for example....

53 percent of this forum may agree with you, but it looks like that number will be dropping.

I could interpret that another way and show a different light such as.

47 percent of this forum totally disagrees with Melton and his views are pointless? And this precentage looks like it will be going up.

Are both statements correct or wrong, just because I buff and a hunk, and I see a gal who looks pretty to me doesn't mean that same gal will look pretty to someone else.

its all in the eye/mind of the beholder and how one interprets things.

Fatalities per million miles have been dropping year over year. I'd say training is getting better.
