One hobby involves building computers. There are in a planning stage right now. Not so much BUILDING but rather replacing and upgrading the current motherboard's parts such as RAM, video card etc. And a constructing of another computer (This one a new construct from ground up) with the expectation that the storage drive array will exceed 1 Tera byte in SSD and about 10 to 20 terabyte array in a stack of hybrid chemically cooled hard drives that have gotten to where they use gas internally among other things instead of just plain old spinners we all know and love.
It's case is sitting under the other table waiting for the motherboard to arrive. That will take a while.
This one will be the first full liquid cooling and reserve tank. This one will be fun. Piping everything all over to the various coolers attached to the boards and so forth. It should work on paper. But cooling that liquid fast enough so that it will continue to provide cooling is a form of thermal dynamic in fluid state which I am not too familiar with. A part of me demands I build a one gallon tank in it's own case out of a spare that also houses pumps big enough to drive it all and divide the power support in two. One for the main computer and the other to drive the cooling side and radiator fans etc.
In addition I am also attempting to find a pathway to a form of cooling that if you had ZERO power to the pumps for whatever reason the system should flow by gravity and support the cooling. We'll see how that goes. It's safe to say there would not be too many computers in my state attempting or has attempted to do what I am trying to do.Rideandrepair and Chinatown Thank this. -
I forgot what I was going to say.

I prefer to take this in a humor method and smile. I think as a method of understatement your sentence is awesome.
Some of my doctors are asking me direct questions pertaining to my mental health to see if Im oriented to the appt at hand after waiting 20 minutes driving two hours, spending three days preparing for battle and carefully selecting meals and so forth so that we get though this appt time.
And the doc would ask do you know why you are here?
I say "Yes, My job is to write dear santa for this that and something else" and your job is to say no and no and no."Rideandrepair and Intothesunset Thank this. -
Life would be much more interesting if every time you open your eyes it would be a clean slate.
Maybe dementia is a way to forget the pain in one's life, or rather a cure for it.Rideandrepair and x1Heavy Thank this. -

In my spare time I have done some research on helping with preventative stuff to help slow progress or just keep it away. Take B12 in the form of methylcobalamin, that has been studied to help. Also daily intake of vitamin D in near 10,000 units. New study's have been found to show vitamin D is used by every cell in our body.

If you cant tell apart your rig in the lot because there are 10 other plastic rigs with the same paint job as yours you might have this issue.
I’m going to get a check up tomorrow.Rideandrepair, Rocks and Intothesunset Thank this. -
Many years ago, a lady driver and I opened the door of another truck thinking it was ours.....
Actually the door wasn't locked... it was night and dark and the truck looked just like "ours"...
The driver was inside and got surprised when he saw us... 2 nice ladies opening his door... he smiled...we got super embarrassed and apologized strongly and then left... but he didn't seem upset at all...
Rideandrepair Thanks this.
