    on the 15.

for the next 3 years. your stuck with going through cedar city, AROUND arizona into nevada.

according to the st. george port.

not a fun route if your over 12 feet wide. and the out of route is 70 - 100 miles. been awhile since i took that road so i can't remember the exact number.

    just an FYI.

Not a bad rte. really. Not sure the miles. Saves you the cost of an Az. permit. I've brought 14' wide lds. that way and over 130' long

Did the math for ya... 100 miles extra, 5 mpg, 20 gallons @ $3.50 per gallon = $70 worth of fuel. Hardly worth the $15 Arizona permit. Not to mention the hour and a half of your life you will never get back.

Oversize only, no overweight. $75 for combined oversize/overweight. I should know as I purchased 2 of them yesterday

arizona sells 2 permits. one trip permit for $15. 30 day permit for $30. but your overhang has to be the exact same or your 30 day becomes void. and you buy a new permit.

only hauled one wide load through there. tons of 60 ft. + long. never done a overweight. so those are the only 2 permits i'm accustomed too.

too bad they won't do yearlies.

fuel is close to $4. and mpg would probably average around 4.5. there's a few hills and curves that make it a hard to speed on road.

Considering the fact that there is no weight restriction (only width) I was referring to a $15 class "A" (up to 14' wide. Obviously getting a "C" ($30) is more but why be that specific unless someone asks?...

Oh, thats right, you did ask "what kind of permit are you getting for $15?" If you paid $75 for a legal weight "A" or "C" then Chris and Marlinda are pocketing some cash... J/K

Arizona does do then they cost $1500 for the year. I don't know if it's cost worthy for you. The Limits are 12'W X 14'-6"H X 120'L
