Some companies require steel toe boots. If you wash your feet and wear clean socks and give your boots a shot of Lysol they will be fine.

 

I don’t wear the adidas jailhouseflippers. 60 dollar leather rainbows get the job done here.

 

Why not?

I haul out of a farm.
I wipe my flip flops on the brush on the step than step onto the plastic entry mat under the pedals and kick them off.
No dirt or poop goes beyond the door entry.

I drive a Western Star with a non hydraulic clutch and a pedal with anti slip teeth that most men would cry if they stepped on it.

Been driving barefoot for 38 years. I’m a old Beach Bum from Florida

Camo or plaid cargo shorts
And
Flip flops

Whatever you feel comfortable in
As long as it doesn't break company policy
And no
I not advising anyone to drive naked

 

What if your trailer caught on fire? What if you were in an accident and had to get out? How fast can you operate dressed like that? You aren't cruising the beach.

 

I can do anything in my attire that you can do in whatever you wear
I've been dressing this way for soooo long
I do have the proper gear for those instances where I pick or deliver has dress codes

 

Years and years ago
The cooling system on my boom caught on fire
On a sheet rock boom truck
I would have handled it the same way wearing the aforementioned attire as I did wearing my denim jeans and steel toed boats
