Why doesnt anybody arrange a "blue flu" 3 days, everybody stay home. Dont go anywhere, dont have your protest hijacked by idiots, nobody can sue you for being sick. Seems to me the easiest way, and would send a huge message without harming everybody. Fill your tanks, then pick 3 days, monday to wednesday, or wednesday to friday. And just go fishin'

You can sit, but you are forced to sit. It's like when your truck breaks down.

You can sit ..but just because your truck is paid for doesn't mean your sitting in safe harbor.. You truck still cost you × amount of money perday even if its not moving.. I am sure you realize that right ?

Can't you're not there. As much as you complain on here, we thought for sure you'd be leading the charge.

look guys, the effort would have been better used in getting to tighten up the regs for authorities to eliminate a lot of the problems by overcapacity in the owner-operator/small fleet area where most of the crying is being done.

Get rid of these marginal owners, the ones who are scraping work because they can't manage their business - there are thousands. These are the ones who seemed to be complaining about cheap freight, they are also the ones who will accept anything to move the truck, it is the same old story that's been happening for the last 20 years.

the broker system isn't the real problem, but within the system it is the brokers who have scrapped loads off of load boards and don't have control of them (meaning they are NOT working with the shippers) are the real problem. This has to be fixed, it has to be disclosed at the time it is posted, not after a bid or contact is made. The same with where these loads land, the broker needs to say right in the description what load boards are being used to post.

Fix these problems and you fix 90% of the real problems.

Won’t accomplish a #### thing, never has and never will. Waste of fuel going to “protest” most of these “owner operators “ have no clue how this industry works.

Protesting would do nothing, it won't stop drivers from hauling cheap freight.

Give it some time, more and more will bankrupt out.

No, it's not. If the rates were good, you would be on the road right now.
