Not mine but this is a UPS sleeper team pay stub. This isn't split between two drivers. This is a single driver's pay stub.

 

Does OD have an extra board for new Line Drivers, or do they hire for specific runs?

 

I think it starts out extra but after so long you get your own route. its usually night shift for a long time

 

what do the home daily guys make? I live close to a terminal and have been at old dominion for 10 years. would be tempted to leave for those numbers. but not otr

 

My former co driver was telling me Wednesday he is at $144,000 for the year. He runs an hourly job at night. Most of the year was 60 hrs a week, but he probably worked a few holidays.

That’s what $39 an hour gets you or thereabouts.

 

If you got hired in off the street you would either be running Team or On Call (extra board). Some locations street hires can get a single bid in a few years, but I wouldn’t count on it. Some locations are growing so fast you could count on it.

 

Supposedly a senior driver at SDFAS posted a check for Thanksgiving Week of $6,000 on Facebook. I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t know how much he always worked.

 

They make over $150k.
My bid run is about mid $130ks. I've only been on it only 5 months this year so my gross is only $121k. My previous bid run I was making substantially less.
