I am sure that tractor is only 14,000 lbs.Cannot imagine how that thing drives with every end tweaked like that, heck even empty...
No worries, just wanted to make it clear for those that do not know me.
They sent a couple more photos of a red one yesterday for anyone interested attached below.
Curious question for anyone who has had aluminum decks. Any issues with them sagging in the center? Remember talking to a guy out in Phoenix
who loaded a F450 that said he twisted them up pretty good, which is completely his fault. The point is that I know Cottrell sells upgraded or thicker
deck panels if you want to use straps & my only experience is with steel decks on two Millers now.

To clarify, I would NOT put a F450 on a steel decked Miller/Sun Valley either. The decks were not designed for it, nor the cylinders in terms of lifting them.
Just more so curious how the aluminum runners hold up with the average 5-6 thousand pound Tahoe type SUV's & pick ups. -
I have the aluminum ramps and I have one that cracked but it was my fault I had a e-350 with a service body on it. I load suburbans and 1/2 ton trucks on top all the time and the occasionally a 3/4 ton crew on top and have never had any problems. I have been thinking lately about upgrading lately just not sure if I'm ready to take that plunge into a new trail because you can't buy them used. And I'm not sure what mine is worth since they are hard to find used to compare them too. I talked to one of the guys at wallymo he thought mine should be worth low 30s. I do know that 2 spot dropping would make my life a whole lot easier though.

If it has aluminum tracking and you do a fair amount of strapping on it over time it will crack if it is 3/16" thick like what it is on chain Cottrell trailers. The strap trailers have 1/4" thick aluminum tracking on them.

There is a guy up in Iowa that has three of the stack customs & said he has never had a issue with the decks. But never asked whether they chain or strap.
That & he only keeps them 3 to 4 years, so more than likely it is the next guys problem in terms of if they ever need replaced. -
If it has the round holes rather than the ovals I think it will hold up better. The oval pooch holes are closer to each other than the round holes normally are. I know that Boydstuns used the round holes so maybe someone can chime in that has a Boydstun and can tell you is those crack out or not.
