Stay away from 1099 jobs!!!! Find a company who pays you well, and you have decent health care.

There are hundreds of companies doing it, I haven't found out if it's legal or not. Go Google 1099 companies or look on craigslist.. they are there bruh

I will give the same advice i gave everyone on 1099,companies like that are bending the rules by paying you as a contractor while treating you like an employee.
Save every fuel receipt and every receipt you can get your hands on,when you do your taxes claim everything as expenses.they cant fight you on that without exposing themselves to the IRS.
Save enough cash, clean your driving records and go work for a legit company.

Ok, that's unusual for a 1099 company. But as a 1099 you are a contractor. You pay your own taxes, Don't have workers comp insurance. If they do offer some type of workers comp, I can assure you it is not as good. You are not entitled unemployment.

Please don't believe everything you read. CDL ads are notorious for stating lies to get you there and then not actually giving you what was promised. The benefits they're offering can't be legitimate group type medical, dental and vision plans, because you aren't eligible for "employer" paid benefits if you aren't actually an employee. I ran into this when I was in CDL school when a mega carrier was saying how great their medical was, and when I asked more questions it turned out to be a medical discount program and wasn't insurance at all. Employers who want you working as a 1099 contract worker aren't doing you any favors.
