10spd Meritor problem shifting low- high, high -low

    Hi there.I have 10spd Merittor .Give me a hard time shifting from 5th to 6th and vice versa. I don't have any problem shifting the others.I just changed my transmission oil.Any suggestions?

    Sounds like your range shift synchro's are going out. You can get a little more life out of them if you shift it manually at the lowest rpms possible on the shifts. It is also better when the oil in the tranny warms up, right? Thinner lube oil (warmer) makes it easier on the synchro's.
