10th gear shutter

    hi guys. i have an 01 379exh with a c15 6nz cat and an eaton 10 speed. when pulling an 80,000 pound or better load it has a rough shutter when in tenth gear if im below 1400 rpms. if i stay above 1400 it doesnt seem to do it. anyone ever had this problem?

    I'd say your lugging the motor, if it wasn't a cat. Truck I drive now and the w9 before it the power band was 1200-1450 RPMs. I'd say just grab 10th when your tacking harder...
