You guys that think this was some fluke are pretty funny for truck drivers.

the way the driver reacted is common, perhaps an informant with a cover story,
maybe the stuff would get dumped off some where between there and the northern border for who knows what purpose?

I'd be interested in hearing where the load originated from. I've often thought that this is how this stuff gets moved around the country. So many of us on the road and so few get checked.

Seems like I've seen a lot more cars being searched along I-40 over the last 3 months. Heard they made a huge cocaine bust on a stopped car last week in NM.

 

Its drivers like this pos why the industry gets targeted the most by law enforcement.

 

But you have to admit, there are over 1 Million cdl holders in this country, so you can't group 1 Million people into the category that we're all law abiding citizens. And since there is little enforcement in our industry regarding drug trade, this is the easiest way to transport illicit drugs.

 

Well when it's packaged up nice an neat it's obvious what it is. I'm thinking load it in bulk in a hopper bottom label it chicken meal on the BOL and ride.
