Truth. It's almost like on my side of the country. Northeast regional is going to most times mean New Jersey at least every other day.

I don't like many laws and rules of Cali. You mentioned they are socialistic and i agree with you. I also understand that many of Californians like it. I don't hate California but i know one beautiful day i will move out..

Hauling food grade liquids has been good for me. I sure heck don't miss dealing with grocery distribution centers or those @#$!! lumpers when I pulled dry vans.

But for some strange reason, I do kinda miss repairing those door securement chains.

Running the 11 western states and making money isn't really possible for a lot of companies without going into California sometimes. Since I live there, I enjoy it because it's where the high paying freight is, and I'm not chaining up to get there. I'm nearing the end of being out for almost 2 weeks outside of California, and you can have this snow and cold crap. Spent 3 hours on a closed highway in Idaho yesterday because of a 10 car pileup on slick roads including two semi trucks. A minute or two ahead of my schedule and I would have been in it. Be glad to get home and when spring gets here.

    I can't decide which I hated worse.

    The mountains or the humidity

I just moved to Tucson from the bay area. The best decision I've made in ages. It's funny how the locals here complain about traffic. And 600 for a one bedroom apartment puts a smile on my face every day.
