Anywhere from $1,000 to $1,400 on average. And that’s just for them to SHOW UP at the accident scene!!!
Never mind the cost per hour that they work!
Bean Jr. and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
Aren’t day cabs normally locals? Must be a rookie.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
It’s like y’all are rooting for the bridge.
HoneyBadger67, Bean Jr., homeskillet and 1 other person Thank this. -
NEMF Has day cabs and they often have to stay in hotels when going a distance

I kinda AM rooting for the bridge.
I've never been there, but from what I've read about it, the approach roads are plainly marked with low clearance signs, they painted the crash beam on the bridge yellow, they put in the overheight detector, and most recently sync'd the traffic light to the overheight detector, so if you trip the detector you get a red light, and the detector is about a half block from the intersection.
I mean, I KNOW shhhhhhtuff happens, but....what else can ya do to "driver-proof" it?FearTheCorn, Bean Jr., lovesthedrive and 1 other person Thank this. -
Bridges like these weed out the unworthy.Tb0n3, homeskillet and lovesthedrive Thank this.

Indeed. All the warnings in the world this bridge is equipped with and yet there those who press their luck, with predictable results..Bean Jr. and lovesthedrive Thank this.

The compilation video of trucks (mostly high cube straight trucks) is quite entertaining.
I showed it to my wife the other day. She replied, "the city needs to do something about this!" I just laughed
homeskillet and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
Maybe a guillotine of a New Jersey barrier to plop down in front of the driver. Nah that would be too interestingBean Jr. and homeskillet Thank this.
