12.7 detroit 60 series running too hot

    But normally a visual inspection will see the threads much higher on a rocker than the rest. Which I'd be looking for. Plus always stuck with me. Did someone still do the valve adjustment in the outdated timing circle? Yes it was revised, yes everyone should know. Yes have I seen someone us it in the last 2 years.

    Detroit ## that idea, it didn't work. It cause dropped valves. Valve overlap procedure is the adjustments you want.

    Maybe the exhaust is blocked. Easy enough to remove the flex pipe.
