Bought a 99 pete with a 12.7 Detroit. It’s not the original motor and the motor did not come with Jake’s. I’m wanting to add Jake’s and need help on deciding which Jake’s I need for the motor.

Model #770 came on 1999 MKs, as you can see on the uploaded file. I believe model 790 will work as well because the injector, intake, & valve adjustments are the same for both engines. I'd go by the camshaft # to be sure. 790s are stronger than 770s because the lash is larger. Are you looking for engine brakes? I have both 2 piece and 3 piece Detroit engine brakes just sitting in my shop that I've kept around after parting unusable blocks. I would have to check model #s. I'll sell them dirt cheap.
