12.7 Detroit VS DD13/15 mpg

    2018 Cascadia DD15 with 10 Speed. Not sure what’s the gearing or how tuned down the engine is, but RPM is almost 1500 at 65MPH. Six month average MPG is 7.4. The DT12 auto you’ll see 8.1 and that was a 3 month average. Both mpg’s are running east of I35 and mostly along all of Appalachia (AL through NY)

    Which engines didn't have rebuildable blocks, 12.7l or DD15

    Neither. Both are rebuildable. But have heard a mix of opinions on DD15.
