12.7 Series 60- Issues after rebuild

Who and how things are replaced matters. It’s more than bolts and nuts. It could be something simple like a loose nut on injector solenoid or overhead out, to a major uh oh. Also more compression makes more boom=more noise. For lack of a simpler explanation I agree nothing worse than creating an issue when trying your best to avoid a future one.


Simple first thoughts are check bolts in front balancer, pressure plate, bell housing etc. did they put the washers between the engine pads and top of motor mount? Look for anything laying or touching frame or cab that shouldn’t.

 

Been there too for sure. It’s time consuming but put a wrench on all of it you can get too

 

Could be way worse, my friend. At least it's running good and generating revenue.
