Any differences? Improvements? Company is giving me a new Prostar today and I'm climbing out of my 2012 Prostar into it because I can't seem to keep the 12 out of the shop. It was just in international last week getting the egr care package put on it, now I've got coolant sensors going out. Am I going to have better luck with the 13 or is it going to do the same deal? The only other option is a new 670 Volvo and no. Gotta wait another 3 months before the new prostars with the ISX start rolling in. Hopefully the 13 will last that long.

As far as I know there is nothing different between 12 and 13's.

Every Maxforce powered truck we have had use of in the last year has barely lasted a 12 hour shift before the check engine lights are on and shutting down.. Internationals used to be great.. they are a big joke lately.. it's rather sad!

I absolutely love the Prostar but I'm not so hot on the maxxforce engine. I think they'd be the greatest thing since sliced bread if they could ever get the emissions system crap straightened out.

diesel spec out of montreal canada is working on a egr delete for maxxforce. these guys are awesome check out there website

there aint a difference in the 12 and 13 only the dt's have differences and they still arent significant
