12 Volt powered speakers

    any know if I can get a set of external powered speakers that will plug into my audio jack on my sirius radio?? Id like to not use my truck radio. Do they make such a item ??

    can't say that I have seen any 12v ones but I am pretty sure that like Radioshack and whatnot might have some AA powered ones....

    Just google Sirius Boomboxes. They have them for most receivers.:biggrin_25525:

    Simply buy yourself a small invertor, about 100 watts. And buy a small set of PC speakers :D

    The Sirius radio is a transmitter that transmits a radio frequency, not sound waves. A speaker system will not work without a receiver to convert the frequency to sound.
