Looks Like the Rate per mile is down from the last truck, but seems like the dead head miles have increase since been running out west a lot lately... The avg weekly bank is up so far, around two hundred dollars. Just about need to average over a longer period of time to get a true number but this should be fairly close to average.

So, the gross is before deducting for your lease payment and fuel?

Yep, yet, there's tens of thousands of these guys that are willing to assume ALL liability for essentially what works out to company wages.

You have heard the saying work smarter not harder.
Well it so easy getting $3.00 a mile with your own truck anything less is paid slavery.
You can not sound weak or hungry when dealing with brokers state what you will do the load for depending on weight, miles products trouble of loading and unloading,
Double ed hat ever they offer and go from there if you know the truck to load ratio that helps you. But the broker you are looking at 3 other loads a.x md tgat you take his offer on to consideration

    stacks Thanks this.

He's making $0.75/mile. What companies pay company drivers $0.75/mile?
