1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Hi , sorry to hear about your accident, and job loss. I am a single mother needing help getting relocated from fl to az. I wish I could just fill the u-haul, tow the car and go, only I have four kids, and cannot fit everyone in the cab of u-haul. so not sure where to look to solve my problem but thought maybe a trucker needing to go out there but cant find load could help, or maybe sometimes they can add stuff to a partial load, anyway if you can help or you have any suggestions for me,
    thanks:biggrin_25525:

A lot of things have changed in 10 years...

Countless DOT regulations related to securing freight on a flat bed...while you may know how it was done 10 years ago, you don't know whats legal now.

I was otr for several years before going local for a couple years just be laid off a year ago. Tried the temp services...no good just ads to your dac report. More junk to right down on your apl. I have been searching for almost a year! Nothing I keep trien! They all want that 6 months in the last year or 1 year in the last 3 years otr. I have held my cdl since 1999 no accidents ect. I was thinking I was alone in this but after reading all these posts I see I am not alone. Ma and pa companies here must be hidden cause I have had a real hard time locating them. I even offered the retraining thing even though I KNOW HOW TO DRIVE! I hate to admit it but I will take the training pay at this point! Those big checks I used to see have been long gone for a long time anyway. ....just letting you know your NOT ALONE!

Although we feel your pain. This is not the place for your posting. Try Craigslist.
    No hard feelings!
