The first three numbers are an identifier of what module is sending the error code.
128 is from the engine
130 is from the transmission
136 is from the ABS
140 is from the instrument cluster
171 is from driver info center
219 is from collision avoidance module
102 isn't listed.
This is straight from our manual,
"If any of the MIDs above are displayed on the first line of the cluster LCD, use the device software indicated to identify the fault code and obtain troubleshooting procedures. If none of the listed MIDs are displayed on the cluster LCD and there are no warning lights illuminated, disregard the fault codes and do not troubleshoot.
Fault codes that are displayed in the cluster LCD can only be cleared with the device software indicated."
If you have copied the fault correctly and everything is fine with your truck, no warning lights, you basically ignore them. The fault codes in the LCD display are real basic and not what we use for trouble shooting anyway.Auctioneer Thanks this. -
Thanks for the help is ended up being the ABS wire harness, it was full of water. Dryed it out cleaned it off, put some dioeclectric grease on and viola, no more faults.
