Hey everyone. Me and my Dad recently opened mobile maintenance shop strictly for heavy duty diesels. Now neither him or I are certified mechanics though we may be considered more of your backyard variety. He is too humble to admit the extent of his mechanical knowledge and I'm simply too inexperienced. Business took off however within the first 3 months we had more work than our 2 mechanics could handle. Then life hit. One mechanic was diagnosed with leukemia, leaving us with just the one mechanic.. who is.. let's jus say inadequate [and that's a gross understatement], resulting in my old man working under the hood of our customers trucks jus to keep them happy despite having started this business to relax and spend time with my mom. Anyways i'Lloyd get to the point, our mechanic wrongly diagnosed this 2013 Pete cabover 220's inoperable a/c problems and lied about having checked if the blower motor was receiving power, so we ordered blower motor and resistor which took a week to get here, needless to say customer is not happy. So me and the old man install new blower motor to find it is not the problem, a/couple, heat, defrost, all still inoperable. No power running up top and we need this truck to be completed by morning. Now, we will happily work on it through the night if we have some kind of lead or a nudge in the right direction but like I said we are not mechanics and are truly at a loss as far as even identifying or diagnosing the cause here. Please help if you have ANY idea of where we should be looking next

So what exactly is the problem? No blower? Or no power to the a/c control panels? And is it a 220 or a 320. Start with going through the fuses located in the center console in a 320. 220s have fuses in the cab, under the front grill and in the battery box.

Just for future reference, if you have more issues with the same cabover petes...
A failed door solenoid (blend door, fresh air, recirc, etc) can cause the blower motor to not turn on at all. We're having lots of issues with solenoids failing on city of tacoma garbage trucks causing these complaints.QUALITYTRUCK Thanks this. -
Where is the blower motor located on a Peter 520 cabover?
