Just put a used 18913a in my FLD. Transmission is used, but has a Weller reman tag on it. No air leaks, everything sounds fine when shifting. Just noticed that it wants to shift into neutral or high when on low split and you let off going down a hill. Checked for air on the low side line going to splitter. Have pressure, but haven't put a gauge on it yet. Thinking about ordering a new regulator, as the original on was broken before I received it. Took a used one off another transmission. Also thinking about ordering a splitter rebuild kit. Also noticed that the range shift will grind from low to high. Not all the time, but seems less when it's cold. Not sure if all of this may be an issue if this transmission has been sitting and it's been in the 30's here.

Here is an air diagram that may help. Sounds like the possibility of control lines crossed. Since it’s been sitting up make certain the slave valve is operating freely, not gummed up. The grinding during range shifting when warm to me is an indication of synchronizer on its way out. Doesn’t grind when cold account of oil being stiffer, than when hot.

Have a kit coming for the splitter cylinder, and a new pressure regulator. I'm leaning towards something along those lines the more I see how it's acting. May have to pull the aux but hoping to avoid that for a while.
