    So LTL goes through a slow season starting after the holidays. They typically don't hire until March/April when freight picks up again.

    Some guys might have too much seniority to remember the lean times, but I've been through it at three companies. Lol

    I mean they had these openings up on their website I think its
    some type of Prison/Welfare to work kinda deal where they get
    Govt money because it had those questions in the application
    pretty sure having a clean record actually works against you I even
    applied as far as Portland Oregon the other side of the country lol.
    They should be up front about it though why waste someone's time,
    just filter out right there and then. They can GFTS with their bs union
    and garbage trucks from what I have seen videos, read about, of
    course someone will get pissed as it is in my case for wasting
    my time thinking its a honest possibility.

    Don't just apply to yrc. You have abf, ups, FedEx, xpo, saia, plus a bunch more ltl outifts. Just cuz yrc ain't calling you doesn't mean another outfit won't. This job market is crazy right now. If you have some basic qualifications and enough determination, you can pretty much write your own ticket.

    Well then, apply somewhere else and stop complaining about one company on here.

    Any decent driver with some kind of history can typically be in orientation within days after applying somewhere.
