Exactly, I had to close the right side about 30% to get them to run down evenly. Had to weld that tank after the webbing behind the strap wore through where it is riveted & they replaced the right side valve with a bigger one. It is now closed to 50%. This is a 2003 Pete 385, not a new one.

The new ones don't have valves you can open and close. I used to have to adjust them on the old truck also.

    Hmmmmm...
Every truck we have ever sold at our dealership has taps on the suction. I checked our new arrivals yesterday and they still have em. Maybe its an option your dealer forgot to get?

That could be but this 2013 does not have them.

the company i work for just recently gave me a bran new 2013 peter biult 388 with a 535 cummins 18 speed with 3.73 46k rears and a bigger tag than i had previously i have a few of the same complaints about it that you do, the textured dash is hard to clean the black cloth seats hold/show every piece of lint ect that gets on them and are hard to clean. i have some kind of a clunking rattling like sound coming from somewhere around the passenger side stack area haven't been able to isolate the noise yet and its only when on really rough roads. i dont have the ash tray issue or any noises or rattles in the dash. the truck rides supper nice but it does have a 290" wheel base. the truck really felt like it had no pulling power at first it would fall flat on its face if it saw a ant hill of course i do run over 100k lbs around 5000 miles it did seem to pick up some tq and is pulling better now. i haven't tried removing the sight window yet for cleaning but the 06 i had previous had the same issue with it. as far as the trailer abs try releasing the trailer breaks and then change the menu with the scroll knob off of the abs warning before releasing the tractor breaks and then your display shouldn't be locked into the abs warning at least that's what i have found works with mine. although if you release the tractor breaks with the abs warning on the screen it will lock the screen out in the abs warning.

oh and some of the issues you mention date back to 06 because the 06 i was driving previously had a similar style dash to the new 388 although it had a smooth fake wood grain behind the gauges that was easy to clean the most used rockers were worn like the cruse control set and resume and pto rockers. the new truck hasn't had this issue yet but im sure it will come with time. and the daylight door window.

The trick to the side window is to get some WD40 and lube the rubber around the window from the inside, they fit loose so you can slide it to one side. Slide it to one side as far as it will go, then pry on the opposite side easy and it should pop out. Once you clean the glass, take your WD40 and relube the rubber again with your finger all around till its good and slick, slide the glass in to the one side then use moderate pressure with the palm of your hand on the other side and it should pop right back in.You might have to use a table knife to coax the rubber a little if it's being miserable. With a little practice it gets easier every time.
