14' Freightliner doesn't start after an oil change

    I did the oil change yesterday and change the air, fuel and oil filters. It doesnt want to start on. The batteries are new, and is showing active faults 1. What can I do?

    Did you fill the fuel filter with diesel? Sounds like you've lost prime. Hit it with some starter fluid and I'll bet it fires up, may idle a little rough cor ten seconds or so, but it'll smooth out.

    You're going to need to pump to prime the filter more..dd15 's can be a bear if you try to start without priming it enough and it will throw a code due to air in the fuel system

    Be careful not to change DD fuel and oil filters at the same time. It can cause a low oil pressure issue and do some damage. Start it up and run it between filters.
