Dominick253 and rachi Thank this.

There's horns and lights up there that will let you know. And i think there's a route they have designated. Been some months since i was last there.
rachi Thanks this. -
US 6, Loveland Pass.
cuzzin it, QuietStorm, Lepton1 and 2 others Thank this. -
The sirens and lights lit up on me once heading east bound. I was 13'6" but only had 1,500 lbs in the box, the guy figured I must have bounced on a bump. He used his measuring stick and let me proceed through the tunnel. 13'10" I doubt you will beable to go through.
DonRobbie, Dave_in_AZ and rachi Thank this. -
Yeah, looks like us 6 is what i will be takeing.

You can run 70 all the way up to the tunnel. The bypass is just before the tunnel. There'll be signs for it.
Dave_in_AZ and rachi Thank this. -
I would have no interest in pulling a 14' van. How is that legal without a permit?
-
It's pretty common out west. Out west a low bridge is anything under 15'.
Bean Jr., Toomanybikes and Dominick253 Thank this. -
14 is legal from texas north and all states west.
13.6 is max on the east. But there's a couple of states that allow 14.
Standard van height is 13.2Last edited: Jun 14, 2016
