Where are these women you speak of? I'm out of odessa right now. My main complaint about this place is lack of women. Way too many dudes.

Statistically speaking for that area of West Texas, there are 19,893 Women between the ages of 18-44 for Midland and 17,952 Women between the ages 18-44 in Odessa.
(Source: Midland, Texas Population 2017, 2018) Also Odessa Stats are there as well.

Now when I was there during the last boom, working the Anadarko Basin. Fast women were flying around town on the regular. My trainer was a bit ladies man, and after jobs he'd have women come out, and jump in the truck with him from in town. Just the way it was ma man! He always talked about some movie with this Cool Teddy who kept a piece of ### and a beer in the other hand.

If that oil price jumps to $75+ hold on to your britches! The Las Vegas Crews will show up shortly after!

You can make six figures easy if you can get on with a company that lets you run 20 hours a day.

Running 12 hour shifts slip seating pay by the load only makes money for the truck owner

In OH PA WV figure $500 a load average and 2 loads in a 12 hour shift. 4 if 24 hours.

There are far easier ways to make $100k in trucking. I do 12-13 hours a day.

Nope. Company driver. LTL. It's not rare either. Lots of guys making over $100k or close to it.

I came into this forum out of curiosity to see if there is more money to be made in the oil field. Looks like I'd have to work a hell of a lot harder, put up with worse conditions and run illegal to make less than I am now.

I'm sure if this current state actually becomes a boom then the pay will go higher, still wont be worth it. I drive all interstate, no dirt roads. lol

You can make 100K in the Oilfields working 12-14hr days delivering fuel! You just need the experience of being in the oilfields. I got 2 options right now on doing 12-14 hrs 1 load a day $390 for fuel to Rig, or $453 for Crude 5/1 & 5/2 to big lake, also company b is paying $23 hr to deliver fuel 12-14hr days but its 14/7 (3-4 Loads a day) hotel paid for but its in Midland. The other I don't have to leave San Antonio! Not 100% sure yet, but the 1 load a day sound very very good.
