With a dry van, 15 - 20K net was more than possible for maybe 20 straight months until March 2022, but it required systematic work of at least 1500-2000 miles per week. Some months maybe more. 30K?! maybe....but it is an achievement possible for super-truckers, not ordinary, down-to-earth owners/operators, who want to go fishing on Saturdays and have a family dinner on Sunday afternoon.
This has changed in the last 5 weeks, though. It is harder to get decent rates and the diesel price does not make it easier either.
$15-$30K Net Profit Owner Operator in 2022?

your opinion don’t pay nobody’s bills. All you smell is that roller dog grease on your very necessary belt buckleAamcotrans Thanks this.

Bit touchy aren’t you. You don’t even know what I was referring to, yet you seem to think it pertains to you. I think Karen doth protest too much. Roller dogs are good, but those taquitos are better.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Do you wipe from the back or from the front?

What is the issue with who, how and how much they make? Yes, 30k net on reefer was possible if running consistently whole month. 1k a day net till couple of month ago. Now? No!

Awe… is yours sore this morning? I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. I’m also sorry you called yourself out for being a lying D bag. I seriously wasn’t talking about you. I was referring to the guys telling the OP they net 30 grand a month after all expenses. Either they got net confused with gross or they aren’t paying themselves a salary and calling that net. Either way 30k net isn’t consistent every month. One or two months a year like March where you have 5 billable weeks perhaps.
All that said, and now that you know what I was talking about I know you feel like a #######. You don’t have to apologize. I forgive you.Oxbow and exhausted379 Thank this. -
Well… that’s true. I suppose they could live in the truck. But I still lean towards it being BS talk and lies. And does that 1k net before or after pay? And even living in the truck the chances of you running everyday for 30 days is slim to none.Last edited: Apr 11, 2022
